What if an item arrives faulty?
In the unlikely event of an item arriving faulty, we must be notified as soon as possible after you have received your order and we may request photos to show the fault/damage.

We are not responsible for any damage caused to the items through misuse, or damage caused by your pets. It is up to the customer to ensure pets are supervised whilst wearing any accessories. We advise removing all accessories from your dog when they are left unattended.

What if an incorrect item arrives?
If we have made a mistake on your order, you must notify us within a few days of receiving your order. If we have indeed made a mistake with sizing, or any other aspect of your order, we will discuss the options to ensure we rectify our mistake.

What if I have ordered the incorrect size/style?
All of our products are handmade to order in a variety of custom options, so we do not offer refunds or exchanges on items if you have changed your mind or ordered the incorrect size/style. This applies to all of our accessories, not just made to measure items like our Tailored Harnesses.

We have provided detailed product information on each product listing, along with sizing information and measuring guides so that you can purchase the appropriate accessory for your dog. It is also important to bear in mind our delivery timescales, particularly when ordering for growing puppies, so we cannot offer refunds if you have not allowed for this at the time of ordering.

We encourage questions and are always happy to discuss our products with you before a purchase is made to ensure that you are buying the right accessory and size for your dog. This not only avoids waste of materials but also avoids any disappointment. So please get in touch if you need any assistance at all regarding sizing or what style of product will suit your dog the best, before you place your order!

Wear and tear.
All items will receive some level of wear and tear over a period of time or after regular use. Heavily used products will show wear much quicker than items that are not used very often and stored correctly. Other factors to consider are whether items are regularly exposed to sea water or abrasive surfaces. So we recommend following our product care guide for the best longevity of your accessories. PLEASE INSPECT ITEMS REGULARLY AND DISCONTINUE USE IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE.

Order Cancellations/Amendments.
You may cancel or amend an order within 24 hours of purchasing. Any requests to cancel an order or amend order details may not be possible after this time as we may have already started making your items.

Accessory Alterations.
In some instances, it is possible to make alterations to your existing Toodlepips accessory to improve fit, but we will be able to discuss these options with you. We charge a small fee for each alteration required and additional postage to return the item to you. It is the customer's responsibility to pay postage to return/send items to us for alteration unless otherwise agreed.

Sizing tolerance.
As everything is handmade individually, there may be very minor discrepancies in sizing. We generally advise to give or take a centimetre or so from the size guides given.

Some fabrics may also make up slightly different. For example, products made with some of our bulkier fabrics, like the Tartan prints, may feel thicker when made, in comparison to some of our lighter weight fabric options. However, we pride ourselves on attention to detail regardless of the options chosen, so please be assured that we would never send anything out that we would not be happy putting on our own dog!
